Evenings in the Studio
I make my paintings in the evenings after work, usually with my assistant Mira nearby who enjoys swatting at brushes or hiding behind the canvas while I paint.
My studio is located in Houston's Upper Kirby / Greenway and is actually my apartment! To the right is a little sneak peak of what my creative space looks like. My goal is to one day work from a dedicated studio in Sawyer Yards or another Houston studio, and every print or peice you collect helps me move closer to that dream!
When I’m not painting at home, you’ll find me out in Houston’s parks and bayous with my french easel, chasing the light and color of a scene and dying of heat exhaustion. I am working on a series of different Houston locations and would love suggestions of where to paint in Houston next!
